LEXINGTON, Ky. – The online portion of Thoroughbred Charities of America’s annual Stallion Season Auction presented by the Goodman Family is underway and runs through Friday, Jan. 9, with staggered closing times starting at 4 p.m. ET. Nearly 170 seasons including Army Mule, Life is Good, Flightline, and McKinzie will be available for online bidding on Salering.net. The majority of seasons will sell no guarantee however a few seasons will be offered no guarantee with a 2027 breed back. A full list of seasons is available here. The auction is TCA’s largest annual fundraiser.
A Select Stallion Season Live Auction and Celebration will be held on Sunday, January 11, at Harper Hall in Lexington, Ky. and will feature select seasons to Constitution, Girvin, Nyquist (with 2027 breedback), Locked, Liam’s Map, Vekoma, Yaupon, and Patch Adams. Tickets can be purchased here. Bidders or their authorized agents may bid on select seasons by attending the event in-person or they may email info@tca.org to register to bid by phone.
Non-season items in the live auction include a John Deere ZTrak mower, a commissioned piece from equine artist Robert Clark, a box at the 2026 Kentucky Oaks and Derby, a St. Thomas oceanfront condo, and a day at Keeneland for six.
Ken Frerich will be honored with the Allaire du Pont Leadership Award and the Delaware Horsemen’s Assistance Fund will be honored with the Ellen and Herb Moelis Industry Service Award.
Additionally, an online silent auction of non-season items including halters worn by Beholder, Into Mischief, Shedaresthedevil, Songbird, Scylla, and more, artwork, unique experiences, horse vanning, and much more will be offered. A list of silent auction items is available here.
