McMahon, a Saratoga Springs, NY native, resides in Versailles, KY since 1995. A graduate of Cornell University, Mike has worked as a breeder, owner and bloodstock agent for over 25 years. Mike co-owns McMahon and Hill Bloodstock LLC with his business partner, Jamie Hill. McMahon and Hill also manage Bourbon Lane Racing Stable, the Spruce Lane Broodmare partnerships and the Spruce Lane Pinhook.

McMahon has purchased 51 graded stakes horses and has also purchased mares who have produced 44 graded stakes horses including the dam of KY Derby winner Funny Cide. McMahon’s family owns and operates McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds in Saratoga Springs.

McMahon and his wife, Natanya, co-own Spruce Lane Farm in Versailles, and have two children. He also is currently the President of the Cornell Class of 1993, has served on the board of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association, is a former president of the New York Thoroughbred Breeders Association and former vice president of the Belmont Child Care Association.
