Bing Bush

Bing is an attorney at Law Offices of Bing I. Bush, Jr., APC based in Del Mar, California with a satellite office in Lexington, Kentucky. He represents clients in various equine related transactional and litigation matters nationally and internationally.

Bing has been hands on with horses from a young age as he grew up in Lexington, breaking yearlings, galloping, and working sales etc, and which he continued while attending University of Kentucky. After completing classes at University of Kentucky Law School with summer sessions at Cambridge England, Bing moved to California in 1987 where he began his legal career eventually becoming partner at Mullen, Plummer, Badger & Bush. In 2000, Bing started his own firm and in 2012 founded Abbondanza Racing LLC which has successfully campaigned several graded stakes horses.

Bing has been a panelist for various seminars for the Thoroughbred Owners Breeders Association (TOBA), Thoroughbred Owners of California (TOC), California Thoroughbred Breeders Association (CTBA), Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners Breeders Association (KTOB), California Farm Managers’ Association (CFMA) and others. Bing formerly served as Executive Director for the Breeders’ Cup Host Committee and on various charitable and community boards. He is a board member of Red Bucket Rescue, and has assisted with others such as After the Finish Line, Permanently Disabled Jockey Foundation and others in fundraising efforts.
