Morgan Richardson

Morgan Richardson, born in Dallas, TX and originally from Naperville, IL and Grand Rapids, MI, attended the University of Kentucky where she gained Bachelor’s degrees in Equine Management & Science and Hospitality Management & Tourism with a minor in Business and fell in love with the city of Lexington. While in college, Morgan worked with a number of organizations from Spruce Meadows to Equestrian Events, Inc. and New Vocations where she was able to hone her knowledge of equestrian sports, cultivating her love of hospitality and finding new ways to engage and inspire others in the industry. Upon graduation, Morgan was hired at Keeneland in the Special Events Department where her passion for both the horses and the horsemen that have made this sport their life’s work led to her current role as Horsemen Relations Manager.

Morgan resides in Lexington with her husband, Phillip and their Weimaraner, Asher. When not working or riding her Off-the-Track Thoroughbred Alfayiz, Morgan loves to travel and explore unique destinations and restaurants and is always excited by new experiences.

Following her passion for the community, Morgan is a Board Member of the Downtown Lexington Partnership, past president of Meeting Professionals International, past board member of Lexington Forum and graduate of Leadership Lexington.
